Since 2024, Estonian humanities scholars have had a shared platform for discussion and reflection – the Estonian Annual Conference of Humanities. The next conference will take place on 8-10 April 2026 in Tartu, at the Estonian National Museum and the University of Tartu.

The Literary Institute will be represented at the conference by almost its entire staff: Kristi Viiding, Aare Pilv, Elle-Mari Talivee, Hegely Klaus, Jaanus Valk and Merlin Kirikal.

In the panel „Vaateid Balti aadli loomingulisse maailma varauusajal“, organized by the Literary Institute’s literature project „Connections, transition, change: nobilitas haereditaria ac litteraria in the emergence of early modern literature in Polish and Swedish Livonia“ (chaired by Kaarel Vanamölder): Viktors Dāboliņš, Aira Võsa, Kaarel Vanamölder, Mark Alexander Ummelas.
