During the Erasmus+ Short-term projects for mobility of learners and staff in adult education (KA122-ADU), the ETA Under and Tuglas Literary Institute, the James Joyce Centre and the Petőfi Literary Museum will seek the best solutions for the digitization and long-term preservation of museum collections.
Project objectives
- To improve the digitization competencies of the three memory institutions.
- To simplify the accessibility of the collections and increase their remote usability.
- To reach a wider audience through various online platforms and enable an exciting museum experience for all people.
- To expand the circle of cooperation partners and introduce the project results internationally.
As part of the project, specialists from the Museum of the Literary Centre and the Petöf Literary Museum will visit the James Joyce Centre in Dublin, Ireland, and will also host Irish colleagues in their institutions. The project will improve the digitization knowledge and skills of the three memory institutions, enabling them to present European literary and cultural history in a more comprehensive and inclusive manner.
